It's moments like these...

... that I will treasure forever.
My loves:

Sleepy Eyes

He is such a pleasure after he wakes up every morning. We have so much fun together at the start of the day, cuddling before going downstairs and then chatting and singing as we eat our breakfast. And how cute are his tired, sleepy eyes? I love it.
Oh Breton, you have enriched my life more than I could have ever imagined.

Daddy's little helper

Breton was very intrigued with his daddy's handy work. For now, his assistance is strictly emotional support but it won't be long until he is daddy's little right hand man!

Best picture of all time?

Our friend Trista took this photo a few days ago. When I saw it I nearly died. I kept going back to look at it over and over again all day.
Isn't it just the cutest?

I will have to re-enact this one with his cool sunglasses on. Next time...

Make over

What do you think of my new look on the blog?
My friend Katie is a graphic designer and gave my blog a makeover! I am so excited with the result. Thanks Katie!!
Check out her ridiculously cute blog over at http://polkadotsoup.blogspot.com

It's been quite a while since I've updated on a frequent . I have to use the Blogger app instead of the computer these days which is pretty limiting when it comes to editing. I'm not crazy about using it, but I'll try :)

Into himself

Breton loves the front facing camera... Yep he's into himself!
His face lights up as soon as he sees his reflection.

It's likely not going to help the situation in the future if we keep buying him shirts like this:

First Multitude Monday

I'm going to start copying Katie and Heidi and begin blogging a multitude Monday list. It's a fun list of ten things I'm thankful for, which I will share on Mondays.  Of all the days of the week, Monday sure gets a bad rap so hopefully this brightens your day a bit.

1. For beautiful sunny weather after a lots of rain.
2. Having a beautiful lake and shiny new parks within walking distance of our home.
3. An adorable farmers market in our town. It's right on the lake! The three of us walked there for opening day this weekend.
4. Getting to spend every day with my little monkey!
5. My orchid coming back to life. A friend gave me an orchid when I was sick in the hospital and it later lost it's bloom. It's back in full force!   It is one of my favorite flowers.
6. A friend for Breton. We recently were able to visit with our friends Jim and Emily who  have a little guy who is a couple months older than Breton. I hope they will be lifetime buddies!
7. A new color for our ugly fence! I will show you a before and after picture when it's finished.
8. Having fun with Breton. He's seven months now... And it is such a fun age. Everything he does is so cute, and he's not at the stage yet where he's running around and constantly keeping me on my toes! I'm really focusing on just enjoying every minute of our time together. It's not very hard to focus on that!
9. Family that lives nearby: Ramona and her kiddos came up for the night last week. We hit up a Red Sox game and it was so nice to see the kids enjoying the pool and badminton set!
10. iMessage with my sisters. The four of us have a constantly running ongoing chat where we talk about pretty much everything. It makes me feel so much closer to them.

Hope you enjoyed! Come back next week for more :)

Visitors

We were fortunate to have both my brothers come visit with their families back in March. It had been a while since we saw either of them and they wanted to meet Breton. There were an extra five kids in the house, four of them being boys. It was busy, but fun!

Jonah, Nate and I explored the park next to our house...

It was St. Patrick's Day and an anonymous leprechaun left a trail of green gold chocolate coins. Nate happily showed off his discovery...

Breton loved meeting his cousins!

Quinn caught a couple z's in the car...

Breton caught a couple z's on Leah's lap...

It got a little crazy at times...

Quinn felt that I would like a picture of his foot...

More time with cousins...

Iris made her delicious salsa...

The remnants of Jonah's Boston Bruins Birthday cake. He is a major fan and was able to catch a game while he was here.

It snowed while they were here...

Finally, Two sleepy heads cuddling in church...

It's hard work being this awesome!

A yawn...

A pause...

And a giggle...

Sleepy faces

Sequence

When I take pictures of Breton, I usually take several at a time and pick my favorite. It's fun to look through a sequence of pictures and capture B's personality. Here are a few cute moments.

Cuddling with Dada

Cuddling with Dada means you get to cuddle with his whiskers too! Sometimes you have to get creative in order to make it comfortable for both parties involved.

Colorado

Some photos from our week with Uriah's family in Breckenridge Colorado:

Lots of kiddos around, which means lots of cuddles between big cousins and little cousins!

Breton and Peyton were born nine days apart.  At this age they didn't do much besides lay around and  look cute!

View from our rental. It was ski-in, ski-out which was great. The peak you see in the photo is exactly a where Uriah and I are standing in the photo below.

12,840 feet in Elevation. It was WINDY and cold, but totally worth it!

Uriah got a brand new board and let me use it after he tried it out. It was amazing and I ended up using it every time I went boarding, and he used mine. It's a pretty girlie looking board and it just all around stinks... But he used it every time we went out together...  thanks Babe!!

Kaitlyn and several Dudgeon snowboarder siblings

Auntie Emmy with a few of her babies (got this pic from Becca)

Someone got ahold of my Photo Booth...

The highlight of the trip for me was when we rented snowmobiles. If you know me you probably know that snowmobiling is probably my all time favorite thing to do.  Richard, Matt, Taylor, Emilee, Uriah and I had a few hours of unguided trail riding in the mountains and it was awesome!

There is nothing quite like the feeling of being on a snowmobile. We love it!

Six of the ten Dudgeon children were in attendance and here's hoping we can do it again next year!
