We have adjusted quite nicely to our new home. I was a little worried that our new area would not have quite as much to offer as La Crosse did.
As busy as fall was, we managed to squeeze in a few activities.
Can you spot Uriah? There is a great hike behind his school (pictured above left hand) called Sleeping Giant State Park. It's not the safest... but that makes it all the more fun right?
These lovely ladies were our Sunday guests. Dinner was followed by a Sunday afternoon stroll on the Quinnipiac River trail. It's safe to say we worked off calories of my not-so-healthy meal :)I must say that I loved what Autumn had to bring this year. The foliage was breathtaking. We tried out the Farmington Canal railway trail which goes from Cheshire to New Haven. It was a beautiful day and the trail was covered with leaves. Altogether we did 30 miles. It was a great way to take advantage of the beautiful fall weather!
